Welcome to Pack 644's Web Site.
Pack 644 is chartered by Christ the King Lutheran Church and serves the S.G. Reinertsen School area of South Moorhead, Minnesota.

Whether you are a member of Pack 644 or a Scouter from around the country, we welcome you to check out our site. We've tried to put together a good web source for those who are involved in our Pack and in Cub Scouts in general.

The Purpose of Cub Scouting

Since 1930, the Boy Scouts of America has helped younger boys through Cub Scouting. It is a year-round family program designed for boys who are in the first grade through fifth grade (or 7, 8, 9, and 10 years of age). Parents, leaders, and organizations work together to achieve the purposes of Cub Scouting. Currently, Cub Scouting is the largest of the BSA's three membership divisions. (The others are Boy Scouting and Venturing.)

The 10 purposes of Cub Scouting are:

    We would love to have you as a member of our fun and exciting Pack! Cub Scouting is a family activity, not just an activity for the boys.

    The Pack meets every Tuesday night at The Lutheran Church of Christ the King at 1900 S 14th St in Moorhead. Meetings begin at 7:00pm and usually end at 8:00pm.

    Please contact the Cubmaster if you are interested in joining. The only requirement is that you are between age 7 (or have finished Kindergarten) and under age 10 (or in 5th grade). Anyone from anywhere in the Fargo/Moorhead area is welcome to join our active Pack.
